How do I find research material in the library's databases?

Choose your Keywords:

Once you have decided on a research topic, consider the keywords you will use to search for resources. Use these slides for advice on developing keywords:

Global Search:

Once you have chosen your keywords, you can use them to search for resources in the Global Search. The Global Search searches many, but not all, of our databases at the same time. This is why it is a great place to begin your search. Check out the following slides for help using Global Search.

A-Z Databases:

You can also search databases individually through A-Z Databases. A-Z Databases provides additional databases not available through Global Search. A-Z Databases also lets you search using a subject-specific database. Check out the following slides for help using A-Z Databases.
