I see an article that I want to use, but there isn't an option to download it. How can I access it?

When doing research using a library database, you may occasionally see a link to an article with a citation, abstract, and other details, but the PDF or HTML file is unavailable. Below is an example of a record for an article that does not include the full text. Click on the image to view a larger version.

The article in this example does not have any options to download the full text.

This means that you will need to search elsewhere to find the full text of the article. To learn how to find articles available through UMass Global Library, read Finding Journal, Newspaper, and Magazine Articles

If you perform a search and find that the article isn’t available through the library, you can request the item through our interlibrary loan services.
