How can I find research materials using the library's databases?
The library’s Global Search feature allows you to look for information across multiple subjects. To get started, visit umassglobal.edu/library.
Under Start Your Research, enter your search terms (keywords) to begin looking for research materials such as articles and book chapters. Click Search to be taken to the search results page.
For a more precise search, use the Advanced Search feature to limit your search terms to certain fields (example: Subject, Abstract) and characteristics such as scholarly/peer-reviewed journals.
On the search results page, use the menu on the left to refine your search by categories such as full-text, scholarly (peer-reviewed journals), date, and source type.
Click on the link to the title of the source to view details such as the abstract/description, subjects, and options for downloading or saving the source.
